A cyclist was injured in a hit and run in Hove at the weekend.
Sussex Police said today (Monday 16 December): “Police are appealing for information after a hit and run in Hove.
“A male cyclist, aged 48, was hit by a car as he travelled west on New Church Road at approximately 10.40pm on Saturday 14 December.
“He suffered rib injuries and received medical attention.
“There were a number of members of the public who helped the victim and may be able to assist Sussex Police in identifying the vehicle.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they have information that could help with the investigation is urged to report online or call 101, quoting serial 1644 of 14/12.”
