A busy road was closed for almost four hours today (Monday 13 October) after a crash left oil spilt across the road surface by a traffic light crossroads.
The accident happened at about 10.45am at the top of Sackville Road, Hove, by the corner of Old Shoreham Road.
Sussex Police said: “This was a minor collision involving a car and a van reported at 10.45am.
“A temporary road closure was in place until 2.30pm.”
The road was closed southbound and buses diverted while the surface was made safe.
It is understood that one person was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
