Norman is on a day out – a big day out – and he has come prepared with all that he will need in a large package on his back. He’s bringing us with him and slowly but non verbally he shares the contents of his pack.
The show is performed by Adam Havsky, a London-based professional acrobat and circus artist. He is a graduate of the National Centre for Circus Arts, specialising in Aerial Straps and Acrobatics. His work is based in creating down to earth characters that make people laugh. He aspires to create pieces in which audiences feel like active participants in the performance. Adam is also a musician and visual artist, integrating these skill sets into all of his performance work. In 2025 he was awarded ‘Most Outstanding Dance Work’ at Brighton Fringe.
Adam says, “So often when performing, there is just so much ‘performance’ that goes into it. Circus is hard, and I was tired of pretending that I could always do all the tricks effortlessly. This show is about breaking that façade and laying out the effort that goes into my craft. Performing the effort with ease and grace. Showing that I’m just a regular guy doing extraordinary things.”
It is the breaking of that façade that makes the show most endearing to his audience.
Through a playful blend of balance, juggling, and acrobatics, ordinary tasks are transformed into thrilling circus feats. Both adults and children alike were charmed by the show and if you didn’t catch it, then there’s another show on 25th May. Book your tickets now as this performance was sold out.
