Insurer holds open day to recruit scores of workers for Brighton call centre

One of the city’s largest employers has 182 vacancies and is holding an open day for people to apply for the jobs.

Brighton-Open-Day-Banner-500x60Domestic and General is looking to fill the contact centre agent positions and is inviting interested applicants to a recruitment event to find out more.

The event takes place at Domestic and General’s office in Queens Square, Brighton, on Wednesday 7 October, from 5pm until 8pm.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to apply in person and discuss the roles in more detail with the HR team.

Nicki Perry, HR Manager at Domestic & General said: “We’re one of Brighton and Hove’s largest employers, but unlike our counterparts, our employees all work from the same office, which is right in the middle of town. It builds a great sense of camaraderie and we’re really proud of the wonderful mix of people who work here and make our office a happy place to be. I can’t wait to meet lots of new faces at the open evening and look forward to extending the D&G family.”

Those attending the event will get the chance to have their application fast-tracked on the evening, with an update on progress the following day.

Domestic and General’s Brighton office employs 900 people, and the company works with many of the UK’s leading brands to provide customer service and sales advice on warranties.

All the roles on offer are permanent, with full training and development provided.

The firm has won a number of new contracts, which have led its current recruitment drive.

Interested applicants are invited to come along on the evening and are advised to bring an up to date CV.
