CCTV released in bid to track down pair who stole comedian’s car

Sussex Police would like to identify this man and woman in connection with taking a comedian’s car without consent in Brighton.

Comic Simon Evans, who was in Brighton to perform a show at Komedia, called police at around 6.15pm on Sunday 4 November to report his coat had been stolen from the Brighton ice rink at the Pavilion.

The coat contained keys for a silver Mercedes, which was subsequently also reported as stolen.

The car has since been recovered and has been returned to the rightful owner.

If you recognise either of the pair or saw any suspicious behaviour in this area at this time please report online or call 101 quoting reference 1010 of 04/11. Alternatively, you can visit the Crimestoppers website or contact the independent charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
