Brighton’s worst kept secret finally out of the bag – Kylie to headline Pride

Rumours have been whirling for months now, but finally it’s official – Kylie will be headlining this year’s Brighton Pride.

The Australian pop princess will be taking to the main stage in Preston Park on Saturday, August 3 – and Grammy award winners Clean Bandit have also been added to the bill.

Meanwhile, Jessie J and Grace Jones will headline LoveBN1Fest, the Pride Sunday In The Park on Sunday, 4 August.

Tickets are on sale at Pride-Tickets.org, with all revenues raised going to the operational and running costs of producing the Pride Festival, LGBTQ+ Pride Community Parade, Pride Village Party and community fundraising for the Rainbow Fund and Pride Social Impact Fund.

In her first ever full UK Pride performance, Kylie will be bringing a very special Pride show to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising and the Pride movement.

A spokesman for Pride said: “The term ‘legend’ is far too readily bandied around these days, but Kylie is truly deserving of the title and we can’t wait to welcome her to Brighton for a full show packed with all the hits.

“We are excited that Clean Bandit are bringing their brillant catchy tracks to Pride and look forward to an amazing afternoon dancing in the park with them.”

More artists and a schedule will appear on the Brighton Pride website over the coming weeks.
