See BEHEMOTH, an offering from Compagnie Moon Café. Dark, oniric, and visually stunning, this performance promises an hour shared between introspective reflection, belly laughs, and awe-inspiring circus. BEHEMOTH plunges the audience into a landscape of the absurd, blending circus with physical theatre and personal storytelling. A tightrope walker in a tutu battles her internal demons through occult rituals and pop music. Meanwhile a neurotic juggling prima donna seeks answers from anyone willing to listen.

Two shows in one. Two stories. Two women each asking themselves one question:

“What the hell is my problem?”

The show will connect with adults and young people but has particular resonance for women, LGBTQIA+ folks and those living with invisible disabilities as it was created by two artists sitting at the intersection of those lived experiences.

Get a sneak peak at the Opening party of the Circus Yard on the 1st of May!

THE CAST

BEHEMOTH is a creation by two emerging artists from the French circus scene, Maggie Rusak and Ivy Blake.

Maggie Rusak (AUS) known for her distinctive style of foot juggling, who has performed all over the world, worked with companies such as The 7 Fingers (CAN) and was voted as one of the world’s top 10 jugglers.

Ivy Blake (USA) is a wirewalker graduated from the Centre Régional des Arts du Cirque de Chambéry, ARC EN CIRQUE (FR) and is a current cast member in La Part Manquante by Compagnie Momentum (FR).
