A road rage driver is accused of smashing a car window by headbutting it and then headbutting his victim in the face in an incident in Brighton this morning.
An off-duty police officer arrested the man suspected of carrying out the attack in London Road, Withdean, at about 7.20am today (Wednesday 13 April).

The two men are both from Bexleyheath in Kent but are not known to each other.

Two passengers were travelling in the suspect’s car and one passenger was travelling in the victim’s car at the time of the attack. No passengers were injured.
The suspect injured his forehead slightly but did not require hospital treatment.
The row disrupted traffic in the area as the two cars had stopped in the middle of the road.
