Hove murder suspect’s brother faces no further action
Two people arrested in connection with a murder in Hove have been told that they face no further action.
They are Albert Nela, 34, from Brighton, the brother of the accused, Edmund Nela, 31, and a 32-year-old Brighton woman.
Sussex Police said yesterday (Friday 9 August): “Two people arrested in relation to the murder of Xhem Krasniqi in Hove have been stood down from bail and will have no further action taken against them.
“The 32-year-old Brighton woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, and 34-year-old man from Brighton, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, answered bail on Friday (9 August).
“Xhem Krasniqi, 31, a scaffolder from Kent, was shot in Church Road, Hove, on Saturday 18 May.
“Edmund Nela, 31, has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of a section 1 firearm, a pistol.
“He is appearing before Lewes Crown Court on (Friday) 27 September.”
