Albion are a goal down after a 29th minute strike by Brentford’s Andre Gray.
Inigo Calderon gave the ball away on half way and the Bees striker’s shot looped over David Stockdale in the Albion goal.
Calderon himself had an effort saved by David Button and both Jake Forster-Caskey and Rohan Ince saw efforts go over the bar.
Albion’s best chance fell to Solly March who saw his curling effort pushed away by the Bees keeper.
Magic spray made its first appearance at the Amex when referee Andy Davies awarded Brentford a free kick.
