Unwitting Brightonians turn down £1,000

Can you spot anyone you know in this promotional video shot in Brighton?

The film shows a man trying to give away £1,000 in cash in an envelope – but nearly everyone he approaches assumes he’s lying or is too busy to talk to him.

Eventually, a young woman takes the envelope and is delighted to find a stack of £50 notes inside – which she says she’ll spend on her honeymoon.

Did you turn down the envelope? Tell us why in the comments below.

I was approached by this man at 32 seconds but I said no as he looked poorer than I. I have loads of money.
