Man wanted to answer questions over Brighton heroin dealing ring

Brighton police are appealing for help in finding a Liverpool man wanted in connection with an alleged £5m conspiracy to supply heroin from Liverpool to the south coast.

Thomas WynnThomas Wynn, 49, failed to answer police bail in relation to Operation Wildwood, which saw homes across Brighton raided earlier this year.

He is white, 6ft, of medium build with blond hair and blue eyes.

He has an address in Tobacco Wharf, Commercial Road, Liverpool but also has links to other addresses in that city. He has links to Eastbourne and Brighton as well.

He was arrested on 24 March this year and was released on police bail while enquiries continued.

Anyone who sees Wynn or knows where he may be is asked to contact police via 999 or 101, quoting Operation Wildwood. You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

So far 11 people have been charged under Operation Wildwood.

Lea Smith, 44, Natal Rd, Brighton; Kingsley Walls 42, Langley Crescent, Brighton; Lee Mack, 48, Sheepcote Valley Caravan Park, Brighton; Ronnie Edwards 48, Chiddingly Close, Brighton; Sean Davidson 47, Downhill View, Brighton; Louis Makai, 44, of Langridge Drive, Portslade, Jon-Paul Swann, 32, of Colin Drive, Liverpool, Arthur Jones 53, Downs Avenue, Eastbourne, Paul Shannon 58, of Compass Court, Eastbourne, and Ian Gerald Frost, 47, of St Michaels Place, Brighton, are remanded in custody for trial at Lewes Crown Court on 11 April next year, charged with conspiracy to supply heroin.

Julie Coltard, 41, of Langley Crescent, Brighton, is on bail awaiting trial on the same date charged with the same offence.

Four men and two women who were arrested on suspicion of the same offence were stood down from their bail and no action is being taken against them.

A 49-year old Liverpool woman arrested on suspicion of the same offence is on bail until 22 July.

Lets not forget the police who put hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of gear on the streets whilst investigating this case posing as dealers.
