A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash on the A259 seafront road in Hove.
He was badly hurt in a collision with a van during the evening rush-hour on Thursday.
Sussex Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was in a collision with a van in Kingsway, Hove, on Thursday (13 November).
“The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, suffered serious injuries in the collision that took place at 5.12pm in Kingsway, at the junction with St Leonards Avenue.”
PC Luke Thornton said: “We are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage of the collision and ask anyone with information to contact us on 101, quoting 1038 of 13/11.”
