An OAP’s poodle has died after being attacked by another dog on board the 5A bus in Brighton.
On Friday 13 March between 4pm and 4.30pm, 80-year-old Coral Dulieu, of Hove, boarded the bus in North Street with her dog, a 10-year-old cavalier poodle.
As they passed two other dogs on board, one of them was reported to have attacked the poodle, causing it significant injuries.
Sadly, the dog has since been put to sleep as a result of these injuries.
The breed of the dog involved in the attack has not yet been confirmed but it was described as a type of bull terrier.
Police want to speak with the man in the images as he may be able to assist further inquiries.
If you recognise the man or have any information to report, contact police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 1427 of 13/03.

It’s difficult to understand why it has taken more than a month and a half to release the necessary picture of the likely dog owner. The details of the attack were there from the beginning.
Because in the real world things take time to do properly. You can always volunteer to be a special constable if it really irks you that the police take a while to investigate nonsense emergency incidents
Could have been a child. Killed a dog on a bus? This man and his dog(s) are a danger to the public.
Sadly since then the same dog/owner believed to have been responsible for killing a dog in the Lanes about a week ago.
