A Brighton comedian and prankster has designed an alternative set of stamps to celebrate the city.
Phil Lucas put together the collection in response to a phone-in on Juice FM about the Royal Mail’s seaside architecture stamps issued last week, which feature the Palace Pier.
But instead of the more presentable side of the city, Phil’s stamps use images of uncollected rubbish, seagulls, travellers, and a comatose drinker slumped in a gutter.
They also feature Disco Pete, a nude sunbather and a bearded hipster.
What else would you like to see on a Brighton stamp?
