Florence + The Machine announces Brighton gig as part of ‘High As Hope’ UK tour

Florence + the Machine has today announced details of the UK leg of the High As Hope tour. A pre-sale for the eight-date run of shows – which includes the O2 in London in November – opens next Wednesday (30 May) at 10am, with tickets going on general sale from next Friday (1 June) at 10am.

This follows the news of Florence + the Machine’s hugely anticipated new album, High As Hope, which will be released on Friday 29 June on Virgin EMI. The record was officially launched with the striking video for first single Hunger while Florence also made her return to the live stage with intimate UK and US shows.

Florence + The Machine’s forthcoming album High As Hope

Fourth album High As Hop’ already has the feel of a career-defining moment for Florence, venturing into new territory as much as it reaches back to one’s roots.

A recent show at London’s Royal Festival Hall was greeted with a series of 5-star reviews including from the Evening Standard, The Telegraph and The Times, in which Florence also teased further new material for the first time (“one of the most thrilling shows of the year,” The Times; “a euphoric return by a singular talent,” The Telegraph; “a towering performer twists back with power and poetry,” Evening Standard).

Florence + the Machine opens for the Rolling Stones at the London Stadium today (Friday 25 May 2018), whilst the High As Hope tour-dates are as follows:

Thursday 15 November – Leeds, First Direct Arena
Friday 16 November – Birmingham, Genting Arena
