A woman has been charged with burgling a business in Brighton on Halloween (Friday 31 October).
Sussex Police said this afternoon (Wednesday 5 November): “A 46-year-old woman has been charged with burglary following an incident on Friday (31 October).
“Police attended a premises in Prince Albert Street, Brighton, at around 9pm following a report of a theft at the premises.
“Officers located a woman at the scene and she was arrested in connection with inquiries.
“The next day, Dolores Almeida de Veiga, 46, of Tavistock Place, Camden, London appeared, at Brighton Magistrates’ Court and was charged with burglary other than a dwelling with intent to steal.
“She has bailed ahead of her next appearance at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 4 December.”
