Sussex’s premier music, beer, poetry and more beer festival Glastonwick will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this June.

This year’s event will once again be held within the rolling Sussex downland countryside at Church Farm, Coombes, West Sussex, BN15 0RS. The three day festival will take place from Friday 5th – Sunday 7th June 2020.

On offer will be no less than 75+ cask-conditioned beers, cider, perry, food… and three days of entertainment from about 35 bands, musicians and poets, all performing their own original material. For the first time this year, there will also be a second stage for the acoustic acts, which is to take place in the Cider Barn. The main acts will as usual be performing in the large barn adjacent. This just goes to show how successful the event has become!

The Glastonwick site is a mere 10 miles west of Brighton & Hove and is literally up from the main traffic lights north of Shoreham Airport. You will be pleased to learn that there are camping options available on site.

The Glastonwick Festival organisers it seems are catering for everyone, as they have once again organised free shuttle buses from and to Shoreham to the venue, with a daily journey to and from Brighton. Obviously these will be on a first come first served basis. You can find out more about this at www.glastonwick.com or simply enquire when purchasing your tickets from your selected distributor. These are listed at the foot of this article.

The Brighton & Hove News attended all three days last year and was taken aback as to how friendly and relaxed this event actually is. There was no nastiness or modern day pressures – just sunshine, music, liquid refreshment and pleasing company. Read our report HERE.
