Suspected flasher bailed by court

A suspected flasher has appeared before Brighton magistrates and looks likely to face a crown court trial before a jury.

Paul Goodenough, 39, of Sandes Place in Leatherhead, Surrey, is due back at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 November.

On that date he is due to face a crown court committal hearing on three charges.

Two of the charges allege that knowingly or recklessly trespassed on premises with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The third charge is that he exposed himself.

The first two charges relate to incidents in Ditchling Road, Brighton, on Sunday 16 August last year, and Gratwicke Road, Worthing, on Sunday 31 January this year.

The exposure charge, for intentionally exposing his genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused harm or distress, follows an incident in Brighton on Sunday 21 February.

He was remanded on bail.
