Metro Bank is recruiting for 25 staff including customer service reps to senior management for its new Brighton branch.
The bank is due to open early next year at the old Amex currency shop building at the top of North Street, which is currently being gutted and refurbished.
It says it is looking for confident and resourceful individuals with a “can do attitude” to work for local director Brian Quinton and store manager Nick Simon.
Metro Bank launched in July 2010 with the mission to break the rules of high street banks with seven-day opening and non-automated call centres.
There are currently 27 Metro Bank branches open across London and the south east and the bank plans to have up to 32 branches by the end of the year.
Kevin Walker, regional director of Metro Bank said: “Metro Bank is growing and growing fast. In our customer-facing roles we recruit for attitude and we’re looking for colleagues in Brighton who can demonstrate passion for what they do and love interacting with people.
“We give opportunities to colleagues looking to build a career with the bank and support our talent by providing a well-established training and development programme.”
