Albion boss Chris Hughton told Brighton & Hove News this lunchtime that he was very pleased with the performance of David Stockdale on Saturday .
Hughton said ” we’ve had fairly even games so far, some could have gone either way and amongst that you need players to perform you need individuals to perform . And I think overall in a game I think we deserved to win , we were reliant on him”
“That is part and parcel of what he does he made two very good saves and we hope he doesn’t have to do that too often , but overall I thought he was excellent.”
The Albion boss also heaped praise on Kazenga Lua Lua’s contribution so far in both assisting and scoring goals. But the Albion boss was in two minds on Lua Lua’s extravagant goal celebration ” the sommersaults seem to get more every time he scores said Hughton “we’re not overly keen for him to do it , but if it means he is scoring goals then we are happy for him to continue”
