A Brighton nurse is due in court on child pornography charges this morning (Thursday 27 August) with three other men.
Michael Maginnis, 54, a former accident and emergency (A&E) nurse at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Eastern Road, Kemp Town, faces 10 charges at Brighton Crown Court.
He also worked in the boarding house at Brighton College, also in Eastern Road, Kemp Town.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between the start of January 2007 and his arrest on Wednesday 19 November last year by the Sussex Police Paedophile On-Line Investigation Team (POLIT).
They involve a number of videos as well as thousands of still photographs.
Maginnis, of Caroline Way, Eastbourne, is due before Judge Paul Tain for a preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors hope to fix a date for the case to go forward.
