A woman has been caught on film stealing a purse from a Brighton flat, Sussex Police said today (Thursday 18 October).
The force said: “Sussex Police would like to identify this woman in connection with a Brighton purse theft.
“A purse with £200 in cash and bank cards were stolen from a flat in Hereford Street around 7.20pm on Monday 8 October.
“The victim, a woman in her eighties, was asleep inside the property at the time of the theft.
“If you recognise this woman or noticed any suspicious behaviour in this area at this time please report online or call 101 quoting reference 1315 of 08/10.
“Alternatively, you can visit the Crimestoppers website or contact the independent charity anonymously on 0800 555111.”
