Chris Hughton has selected a strong second string as the Seagulls take on League 2 Coventry City at the Amex this afternoon.
An Albion win will see the club in the FA Cup sixth round for the first time since 1986 – when the team at the time had only five days to think about the sixth round tie against Southampton after the severe winter delayed their fifth round replay against Peterborough.
Brighton went on to lose the quarter-final clash 2-0 to the Saints.
Today Southampton are also playing for a place in the sixth round, taking on another Albion – troubled West Brom – at the Hawthorns.
