New purpose built concert venue for the South Coast set to launch
The Factory Live

THE FACTORY LIVE LAUNCHES IN WORTHING, WEST SUSSEX:
Combining the technical prowess of popular rehearsal and pre-production space, Soundhouse Studios along with the decade-long live booking experience of Atom Promotions, The Factory Live plans to deliver an exciting programme of established, emerging, flagship and new live music, alongside stand-up comedy, club-nights and experiential events..

Soundhouse Studios and Atom Promotions are proud to launch a state-of-the-art purpose built 350 capacity live and club music venue in Worthing – launching with a performance from crate diggers, The Allergies, at the end of September. Situated in the grounds of Soundhouse Studios, (9 Ivy Arch Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 8BX) the venue boasts an impressive Yamaha DZR Active Front Of House system, exclusively supplied by Yamaha.

With a focus on grassroots music, this brand-new independent music venue will be programmed by Worthing’s leading live music promoter, Atom Promotions. Already announced, and displaying the sheer diverse and versatile bookings policy, is a cross-section of talent; beatboxing legend Beardyman, funk and soul crate diggers The Allergies, heritage acts The South and Space, plus 80’s legend, Toyah Wilcox alongside hotly-tipped local new artist, Wild Front and Liverpool’s Polar States.

The Factory Live

With over one-hundred live music events per calendar year promised from Atom Promotions for The Factory Live, it hopes to become a crucial addition to Worthing’s emerging nightlife scene. Atom Promotions are already well-established on the South Coast, having brought musical legends such as The Charlatans, Norman Jay MBE, 10cc, The Bluetones, Grandmaster Flash, Adam Buxton and more.

With the option of two spaces for live music – main (350 max capacity) and studio, via a modular wall (200 max) – the building also has eight rehearsal studios, and an option for major acts to use the space for their pre-production run-throughs. Due to being situated on an industrial estate, the venue also benefits from zero local noise complaints.

Thom Milner-Smith, CEO, Atom Promotions – “I’m really excited to be launching a premier venue in Worthing – something the area desperately needs and deserves. As a promotions company, we will deliver high quality events for both new and emerging talent alongside established and heritage acts. This partnership will allow us to grow upon the fantastic roster of seminal events that have been putting on in my hometown for the past ten years. Watch this space.”

About Atom Promotions:
Atom Promotions was formed in 2009, with the view to put on events that united people across the South Coast; gathering all kinds of people in one space to share remarkable moments together.

Atom Promotions deliver high-quality live music concerts and events in their hometown of Worthing and across the South East and also in London (Adorable, Bush Hall and Scala).

Their focus is on providing quality programming, convenience for attendance and diversity and variety with their line-ups for real fans.

“Worthing – amazing venues with fantastic audiences. Plus, it’s by the sea. Looking forward to the next time we player there!” – Tim Burgess of The Charlatans
