Brighton and Hove Christmas tree recycling points open on Monday

More than two dozen Christmas tree recycling sites in Brighton and Hove are due to open on Monday 28 December.
The Christmas tree recycling sites are scheduled to stay open until Friday 29 January.
They are being operated by Brighton and Hove City Council at the following locations:

Brighton

•Upper Bevendean Avenue – opposite the shops by the recycling point
•Coldean Lane – opposite Park Road, near the junction with the A270 Lewes Road
•Dyke Road – by Hazeldene Meads
•East Brighton Park, Wilson Avenue – in the car park
•Hollingbury Park, Ditchling Road – the north entrance opposite Woodbourne Avenue
•Ladies Mile Road – by the junction with Mackie Avenue behind the clock tower
•Mackie Avenue, Plainfields Avenue – by the playing field opposite the shops
•Montpelier Crescent – opposite the shops
•Preston Park – south end, by The Ride and Preston Park Avenue
•Preston Park – north entrance, in Preston Drove next to the recycling site
•Queen’s Park – north, by the Pepper Pot
•The Level, Union Road – behind the recycling point
•Upper Bedford Street – by Hampshire Court and the corner of Upper St James’s Street
•Wyevale Garden Centre, Race Hill – in the car park

Hove

•Brunswick Square – inside the gardens at the Western Road entrance
•Hangleton Park – on the left hand side from the Lark Hill/Park Rise entrance
•Hove Museum – in the rear gardens in the north-west corner
•Hove Park – at the end of Orchard Road
•St Ann’s Well Gardens – beside Nizells Avenue
•Wish Park Recreation Ground, Wish Road – in the north-east corner by the playground

Portslade

•Easthill Park – by the Millcross Road entrance
•Victoria Recreation Ground – off Victoria Road in the west car park

Saltdean

•Saltdean Lido, Saltdean Park Road – in the car park on the left hand side of the recycling point

Woodingdean

•Central Park, Lockwood Crescent – in the corner opposite the recycling point
•Happy Valley Car Park, Falmer Road – to the left hand side of the entrance barrier opposite Crescent Drive South.

The Christmas and new year opening hours of the council tips off Wilson Avenue, Whitehawk, and Old Shoreham Road, Hove, can be found by clicking here.
