The BBC TV series The Apprentice came to Brighton this evening.
Three members of the boys team – led by 30-year-old investment bank worker Stella English – were shown at the Yellowave beach sports centre on the seafront near Brighton Marina.
They were supposed to be market testing a unique holiday product – a towel with a pillow to keep drinks cool on the beach.
They showed their product to local families, who didn’t seem impressed, yet thought it had gone well.
And despite taking orders for just 100 units, the boys managed to win the task and avoid hearing Alan Sugar’s best-known line: “You’re fired!”
Always working. You deserve a medal.
