About 60 police officers have carried out a series of co-ordinated drugs raids on seven buildings in Brighton and Hove and Shoreham.
A 58-year-old Brighton man was arrested as a result of the searches.
He was held on suspicion of having a class A drug with intent to supply.
The suspect was released on police bail until Monday 16 May pending further inquiries.
The drugs raids were intended to enable officers to seize evidence of drug dealing.
They found 13 bags of what is believed to be cocaine.
Chief Inspector Simon Nelson, of Sussex Police, said: “Our attempts to disrupt the drug distribution network and act positively in response to the intelligence the community gives us will continue.”
