Police are appealing for witnesses to a rape in Hove at the end of last month.
The victim, a 17-year-old girl, had been with the suspect, an 18-year-old man, who she knows when he took her down an access road to some garages in Aldrington Avenue in Hove, Sussex Police said.
The force said that the rape happened at around 8.30pm on 30 March.
An 18-year-old man from Brighton has been arrested on suspicion of rape and has been bailed until Thursday 21 May while investigations continue.
