Simonne and The Dark Stars, are a Brighton-based indie noir/dark pop collective made up of Simonne, John, Mark and Nick. They have been active for six years and have played many gigs in that time. Their most recent being in January at The Prince Albert in Brighton. They have successfully picked up a Brighton Music Awards nomination along their journey so far!
The band are now looking to create their first full-length album, and has been offered a recording opportunity with award-winning producer Marc Waterman in London. To take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Simonne and The Dark Stars needed to raise at least £3,000 – and in order to do so, they’ve set up a Kickstarter page, accessible here: bit.ly/DARKSTARS.
We are very pleased to inform you that they have currently raised an impressive £3,018 – this will now enable them to head into the studio and do Brighton proud!
