Brighton park flasher thought to have struck again

A quick-thinking teenager took a picture of this flasher who is thought to be behind a number of similar incidents in Preston Park over the last month.

The latest report was received at 6.23pm on Monday, September 17, when a man approached a group of teenage girls and exposed himself to them. One of the girls was quick-thinking and snatched a photo of the man, which police have now released in a bid to identify him.

From descriptions, police think that it may be the same man who is suspected of a previous series of indecent exposures in the park in 2016/17. All have involved girls around their early teens.

He is described as white, in his mid-20s, and wearing a white top and green shorts. He was carrying a black Adidas bag. Previous reports suggest that he is around 6′, of slim build and with short dark loosely curled hair.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 1019 of 17/09. Police have increased patrols in the area and you can also provide information to these officers if you wish.

    This is odd!

‘when a man approached a group of teenage girls and exposed himself to them. One of the girls was quick-thinking and snatched a photo of the man, which police have now released in a bid to identify him.’

So he did that nasty deed and then went and sat down on a park bench? And allowed a ‘victim’ to take a photo of him? Nah, something very odd her!

That’s exactly what flashers do. They just wander around and every now and then have their genitals out. It is really odd and you sometimes don’t know whether you saw it properly. It’s not an isolated report so would be weird if several people decided to make up the same thing
