Look forward to a right old Xmas knees up with Bad Manners in Brighton

The height of summer isn’t even here yet and here I am informing you about a right old Christmas knees up event taking place at the Concorde 2 on Brighton seafront on Sunday 23rd December! Well someone had to do it I guess.

Buster Bloodvessel and his band Bad Manners will return to Sussex eight months after their successful jaunt at the Con Club in Lewes on 15th April, where they really packed a punch with their superb interaction with the crowd.

The band originally formed in 1976 and although Buster (real name Douglas Trendle) is the only original surviving member, his 8 piece (sometimes 10 piece) band really know how to get the crowd moving! But Buster has had a bit of practise – let’s not forget that in the 80’s Bad Manners had a string of 12 UK chart singles (covering a period of 111 weeks), 4 successful albums, Top of the Pops performances, and worldwide tours.

No doubt you can expect a barrage of fine uplifting tunes that are likely to include ‘My Girl Lollipop’, ‘Walking in The Sunshine’, ‘Lorraine’, ‘Wooly Bully’, ‘Special Brew’, ‘Ne-Ne Na-Na Na-Na Nu-Nu’, ‘Lip up Fatty’ and of course ‘Can Can’.
