The Church of Christ the King’s iPhone application is now live, making it the first in the country to take advantage of smartphone technology to spread the Lord’s message.
The Brighton church, based at the Clarendon Centre, New England Street, will publish video and audio recordings of the church’s messages from Sunday meetings, information from its blogs and church calendar and general information about the church on the app.
Church spokesman Matt Simmonds said: “The first version will be fairly basic but we hope to develop it further and add new functionality over the course of the year.”
