A man sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman in New Church Road, Hove.
The woman, who lives locally, was walking west along New Church Road when the man came up behind her and touched her indecently.
He had just turned into the street from Westbourne Gardens and, after the assault, he ran off into Richardson Road.
The incident happened at about 6.50pm on Friday (18 January).
Sussex Police said: “The woman was shaken but unhurt.”
The man was described as white, in his twenties, about 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with dark eyes and a defined jawline.
He was clean shaven with short brown hair and was wearing a black zip-up hooded top with dark coloured trousers. He had a light coloured satchel over his shoulder.
