Three people charged over fight in Brighton

Three people have been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) after a fight in Brighton.

Sussex Police said: “Three friends were attacked when they went to help another man who was being attacked on Madeira Terrace at around 4.40am on Saturday 5 October.”

The three are

  • Jordan Rudwick, 18, a builder, of New England Road, Brighton, who was charged with two counts of assault causing GBH and one of affray. He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 13 February.
  • Marcus Fraser, 20, unemployed, of no fixed address, was charged with having a controlled drug (MDMA), affray, breach of an antisocial behaviour order and two counts of assault causing GBH. He appeared at court on Monday 2 December.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Brighton who was also charged with two counts of assault causing GBH and one of affray. He appeared at Brighton Youth Court on Tuesday 18 March.

They are all due to appear in court again on Tuesday 29 April.
