Jake Decker, 20, from Brighton, wanted on recall to prison after breaching the terms of his licence, has been arrested in Eastbourne.
Decker, originally jailed for 42 months for various offences including GBH, burglary and handling stolen goods, was arrested on Monday (16 January) for shoplifting just after 1pm at The Crumbles.
He was charged with shoplifting and remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates court on Tuesday (17 January).
