Slade

Slade

The legendary Slade have announced that they will be returning to Brighton on Saturday 29th December 2018. They will be appearing at the intimate Concorde 2 in a club show running from 7pm to 11pm.

Slade are without doubt one of the most exciting bands to come out of Great Britain in the past 50 years. With their unique blend of perfect pop-rock’n’roll, outrageous flamboyance and pure fun, and no less than 23 Top-20 singles of which 6 were No-1 smash hits….plus 6 smash albums, the band have become a firm favourite in the hearts of pop fans all over the world.

Slade will perform a rare club show in Brighton celebrating 50 years of their illustrious music career. So those lucky punters attending can expect to hear all the classic Slade hits including, ‘Coz I Love You’, ‘Mama Weer All Crazee Now’, ‘GudBye To Jane’, ‘Cum on Feel The Noize’, ‘Far Far Away’, ‘Look Wot You Dun’, and of course ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’, plus many more choice tunes.

Slade now features original members Dave Hill on guitar/vocals and Don Powell on drums, as well as Mal McNulty on vocals/guitar and John Berry on bass/violin/vocals. This line up has been established 16 years, since 2002.

Let’s face it – it doesn’t get better than Slade at Christmas in order to enter into that festive spirit. This is a rare must see show for any 70s music fan. There will also be DJs playing classic 70s and 80s party tunes to further the mood.
