Homegrown talent takes to the stage this weekend at the Windmill Theatre, Hove, as our very own concert orchestra presents their summer show.
This orchestra specialises in firm favourites, and this show will feature songs from The Pink Panther, Dreamgirls, Pirates of the Caribbean, My Fair Lady and many more. The varied programme will demonstrate just how versatile this group of dedicated performers are, with tunes that everyone will recognise.
This performance will be further enhanced by their two regular soloists, Roni Bruno and Stephanie Aves, who will be adding their vocals to the orchestral backing. Taking on songs including Send In The Clowns, Popular and One Night Only, these are always highlights of the shows. This season also features two instrumental soloists: Hepzibah Sessa (Orchestra Leader) performs the emotional melody associated with Cinema Paradiso, and James Marsh provides the trombone solo in Firefly.
The night promises to be one of toe-tapping and memory, with something for everyone.
