The NHS mental health trust serving Brighton and Hove is to hold its annual meeting at four venues including Mill View Hospital.
The trust covers the whole of Sussex and is trying to give as many members of the public as possible the chance to learn about its work and performance.
Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust’s formal AGM will take place as a video conference from 2pm on Wednesday 27 July and will also be relayed to sites in Worthing, Hailsham and Crawley.
The trust said that residents would be able to ask questions and have their say on services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and substance misuse problems.
It said that there would also be a chance to find out more about how Sussex Partnership raises and spends its charitable funds.
After the formal AGM those attending the meeting at Mill View in Hangleton will be able to learn about some of the services provided by the trust.
They will also be able to meet and chat with Sussex Partnership governors and directors over a cup of tea or coffee.
Admission is free but the trust said that places must be reserved beforehand either by calling Freephone 08000 153357 or email FT@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk.
The event is scheduled to finish at 4.30pm.
Yesterday councillors were told that the budget for working age mental health services was being exceeded by £363,000 just two months after the start of the current financial year.
The Joint Commissioning Board for Brighton and Hove was told that 30 more people had long-term placements than allowed for in the budget.
The board is made up of representatives of Brighton and Hove City Council and Brighton and Hove City Teaching Primary Care Trust – also known as NHS Brighton and Hove.
Members met at Hove Town Hall and were told that last year the board, which has an £80 million budget, broke even except for an overspend of £424,000 on services provided by Sussex Partnership.
The cost of the overspend was shared jointly by the board and Sussex Partnership.
