The man accused of murdering 62-year-old Michael Polding in his Brighton flat has been remanded in custody to reappear in court tomorrow (Tuesday 14 May).
Ricardo Pisano, 35, of Methuen Street, Southampton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (11 May).
He was charged with murdering Mr Polding in his home in St George’s Road, Kemp Town, last year.
He was also charged with wounding Mr Polding and preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body.
Mr Polding’s body was found at his home on Monday 16 July last year and was believed to have been there for two months.
Pisano is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court before Judge Richard Brown, the Recorder of Brighton and Hove, tomorrow morning for a preliminary hearing and bail application.
