I live in the North Laine. Drug dealing and drug using is done openly with no intervention from the Police or the Council. Everyday there are groups of users hanging around waiting to score outside our homes. They know they are not going to be bothered by the Police and are free to do whatever they want.

What’s that got to do with this story? You’re just venting your annoyance and displaying your judgemental attitudes (justified or not) about another issue entirely. People have lost their lives – why don’t we all respond with our observations about things that annoy us? Anyone care to weigh in with unrelated concerns about dog waste and bin collections? Why are you having a go at people that (you assume, possibly wrongly) are suffering from addiction when I think relevant information probably relates to knives?

I apologise for my comments. I should have just posted my best wishes to the victim of this terrible crime. I hope the perpetrator is caught quickly.

Mickey is right, always there. Heavy drugs turn to murder.
