Another protest is being held at the Clock Tower in Brighton this afternoon.
Protesters are planning to demonstrate there against housing benefit cuts from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Last week students demonstrated there against tuition fee rises and education spending cuts during the evening rush hour.
The organisers of today’s protest say that the housing benefit cuts will lead to more people becoming homeless and are urging people to come along with a large cardboard box.
They have also set up a Facebook page to publicise their campaign.
It says: “Among the other attacks on the worst off, in order to pay the bankers’ gambling debts the government is making a massive attack on housing benefits and the right to a decent house.”
