A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury after being hit by a car opposite Preston Park last week.
The schoolboy and a blue Rover 25 collided in Preston Road near the junction with Lauriston Road at 5.15pm on Wednesday.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash. Anyone who has information should call 101 quoting serial 1007 of 9/5.
