Three men were arrested by Serendipity in Rottingdean this morning.
They were held outside the Serendipity card and gift shop after a police chase ended in High Street in the village.
The three men were in a car which was reported by the Metropolitan Police to have been involved in an incident in London.
An officer from Sussex Police spotted the car in Brighton just after 9.15am today.
A chase followed and the car was stopped in Rottingdean at 9.30am.
Three men from East London were arrested and taken into custody.
They were an 18-year-old man and a 22-year-old man who were arrested on suspicion of taking a car.
Another 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of taking a conveyance, going equipped and failing to stop.
